A suspect was arrested with 2.91 grams of heroin near the Methsada Sevana flats by Modara Police yesterday.
The 29-year-old suspect is a resident of Colombo 15.He was produced before the Maligakande Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Modara Police are investigating.
Mount Lavinia Police also arrested a suspect with 2.5 grams of heroin in Ratmalana on a tip-off yesterday.
The suspect is a 39 year old resident of the same area.
