Water supply to certain areas in Colombo will be either low or interrupted for eight hours between 10:00 p.m. today (10) and 6:00 a.m. tomorrow (11), due to renovation work under the Greater Colombo Water and Wastewater Improvement Investment Program, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) stated. The affected areas are Colombo 1, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15.
Accordingly, Colombo 12, 13, 14 and 15 will experience a total interruption of water supply, while Colombo 1 and 11 will have a low-pressure supply. The NWSDB has requested the public to call the Hotline ‘1939’ for further information.
