Following a raid conducted recently in Weerawila, four suspects possessing four ‘galkatas’ firearms, ten litres of moonshine, and and three kilograms of venison, were taken into custody by the Weerawila Police.
Police said that one suspect was taken into custody at a house in the ‘Seventh Colony’, while the other three suspects were taken into custody at Kirimetiaara.
The suspects were to be produced before the Tissamaharama Magistrate.
