Old Trinitian, Chairman and Managing Director, David Pieris Group of Companies, Rohana Dissanayake was unanimously elected as the president of the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) for his second term at the 103rd Annual General Meeting, held on September 24 at MCA Legends New Wing. There are no new faces in the Executive Committee. All posts were retained unanimously as last year.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 season which normally ends in September over lapped, with ‘F’ & ‘G’ divisions and the Open ‘Sixes’ still remaining. The ‘F’division got off to a start on September 26 and the ‘G’ division is scheduled to commence late October and the open ‘sixes’ will be held early December.
