Kalawana Police Station building on verge of collapse

The building housing the Kalawana police station is on the verge of collapse. About fifty police officers are serving here under trying circumstances. Ten grama niladhari divisions come under the purview of this police station.

The police station is converted to a mini swimming pool during rainy days because rain water seeps through the walls of the police station building due to the heavy dilapidated condition of the roof.At the moment a part of the building complex remains collapsed. A catastrophe is imminent if this building complex is not repaired at the earliest possible date.
