The Industry Ministry will facilitate the industrialists for them to carry out their industries without any interruptions during the pandemic. Therefore, the ministry has appointed three directors for the purpose and set up three direct telephone numbers to submit the issues faced by the industrialists.
The industrialists could submit their issues directly and seek solutions via these numbers, Mministry sources said.
Issues on Industries within industrial zones – Director Vindika Piyarathna – 0713976406.
Issues of other industries out of the Industrial Estate- Director Rasika Wijekoon- 0113158114.
Issues on import duties - Director Sithara Jayasena– 0770820775 Industries Ministry Secretary Chulananda Perera said that these direct telephone numbers were introduced to provide immediate solutions to industrialists’ issues.
