Hatton Public Market re-opens after nine days

The Hatton Public Market premises were reopened yesterday after being closed for nine days. The market was closed after it was revealed that a number of people from Hatton town had contracted the COVID-19 virus.

Health officials of the Hatton Dickoya Municipal Council had taken steps to completely disinfect the public market premises on the 3rd prior to the opening.

The Public Health Inspectors of the Hatton Dickoya Municipal Council have instructed all businessmen engaged in business activities in the public market premises to carry out their business activities in accordance with health regulations and guidelines.

The first infected person to be infected with the COVID-19 virus was found in the Hatton public market area and it was revealed that the virus had spread to 10 of his associates.
