The University of Sabaragamuwa has introduced Master of Arts (MA) in English and Education and Postgraduate Diploma in English Education, which will commence from January 2021.
The Coordinator of the MA programme Dr. Rohan Abeywickrama said that the degree program will produce dynamic individuals who are having a higher value for the nation building process and for the future of higher education in Sri Lanka.
The degree program combines the study of English Literature, Education and Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL).
Dr. Abeywickrama said that the degree program will provide opportunities for the aspiring postgraduate students and those who live far away from the capital.
