Pannipitiya Private Hospital further slashes room rates

Pannipitiya Private Hospital which has earned fame in the health sector has increased its in-house capacity to enable more patients to get admitted for treatment. Thereby patients now get the opportunity to select a room out of three categories to their choice.

This therefore enables patients to select a room ranging from Rs 2,500 to Rs12, 500 in the categories of normal to luxury, Dr. Ananda Kuruppuarachchi, Chairman and Managing Director, Pannipitiya Private Hospital said.

“A large number of patients get admitted daily for treatment. To provide them treatment without any restriction, we have made arrangements to further expand the hospital’s in-house facilities further. Therefore, according to the patients affordability rooms are available under the categories normal, middle and luxury at the hospital,” Dr Kuruppuarachchi said elaboration on the measures taken recently to expand the hospital’s in-house capacity.

The Lotus wing luxury room complex which was recently unveiled at the hospital too is among the facilities available at the hospital for patients intending to get warded for treatment.

Dr Kuruppuarachchi further said that as an entity that provides more services for money paid and as a cost efficient hospital, Pannipitiya Private Hospital decided to introduce in-house services in this new dimension taking into consideration the financial plight of the people in the backdrop of the corona pandemic in the country.

“Pannipitiya Private Hospital cuts off unwanted expenses and even passes them over to its patients because the hospital does not operate solely on a profit orientation motive. Taking into consideration financial burden the people carry due to the corona pandemic, the hospital has decided to slash charges for all its treatment services.

“All our residential patients come under the care of over 100 specialist doctors and the warm and courteous service of the experienced nursing staff of our hospital,” he added.

The hospital also intends in parallel to the increasing demand to further expand all three categories of its rooms for the convenience of its patients.
