Although the Manning Market in Colombo was scheduled to open yesterday, it was not opened based on the instructions of the health authorities as the PCR tests of the Natami’s (labourers) of the manning market had been conducted and many positive cases were found.
Therefore, the authorities did not allow the vendors of the Manning market to open shops and the opening has been postponed indefinitely, said Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana.
