The total number of recoveries from COVID-19 in the country surpasses 17,000 mark as per the Epidemiology Unit’s tally. It is at 17,002 and there are only 5,877 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 22,988.
The country has also witnessed 109 deaths from the virus
