The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) recorded two significant milestones yesterday with the market capitalization reaching an all-time high value of Rs. 3.25 trillion and recording 52,559 trades which is the highest number of trades recorded within a market day.
The number of trades carried out surpassed the previous record of 49,921 carried out on August 18 2011.
