Under the government initiative of encouraging local manufacturers, the Sri Lanka State Trading (General) Corporation entered into a partnership with ReeBonn Lanka (Pvt) Limited.
Under this partnership ReeBonn Lanka (Pvt) limited will manufacture a home and personal care product range under the “STS” brand and these products would be serviced and distributed by Sri Lanka State Trading (General) Corporation to all government retail channels and government institutions.
The Sri Lanka State Trading (General) Corporation is a fully government owned institution functioning under the purview of the Ministry of Trade.
The product range was launched under the brand name STS. The event was held on January 11, at the Ministry of Trade.
The occasion was graced by Minister of Trade, Bandula Gunawardane, the Chairman and Managing Director of Sri Lanka State Trading (General) Corporation Yoga Perera, Chairman and Managing Director of ReeBonn Lanka Pvt Limited Kanishka Gamanayake and many senior officials in the state sector.
The product range includes Hair Oil, Hand Wash, Dish Wash, Toilet Cleaner, Floor Cleaner, Laundry Liquid, Air Freshener, Car Wash, Disinfectant, Glass Cleaner and Liquid Bleach in different Stock Keeping Units (SKU) and variants at very competitive pricing. ReeBonn is a brand with a 15 year history with a personal care product range that caters to the herbal and natural ingredient seeking consumer. The entire product portfolio is locally manufactured at a facility in Malabe under strict quality standards.
Apart from personal care range, the Company also manufactures and markets home care products including laundry and household care products such as fabric liquid, fabric conditioner, dishwash liquid, floor cleaners and air fresheners.
