Several dogs crossing the main road.
Residents of the Eheliyagoda lower town close to the Panawala Junction and those close to the Eheliyagoda alternate road have been inconvenienced because of a pack of stray dogs in the area.
These dogs often run across the main road causing accidents.
A woman in the area told that some dogs enter houses and drag food away.
These stray dogs lay under parked lorries and bark at the people who walk on the pavements.
The residents, therefore, urged the relevant authorities to take action to remove the stray dogs before they become a severe threat to the people.
