United National Party (UNP) General Secretary Palitha Range Bandara said that the UNP will hold a special ceremony to mark the 73rd Independence Day of Sri Lanka on February 4 at Sirikotha, the UNP Headquarters , under the patronage of UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe.
He said that the ceremony will be held to commemorate the UNP founder and the Father of Nation late D.S.Senanayake, who was the first PM of independent Sri Lanka.
A special lecture on the Independence of Sri Lanka, too, will be delivered, he said.
