CCTV cameras for all fishery harbours soon

It was revealed at a recent Galle District Local Production Industry Development Committee meeting that CCTV cameras are to be installed at fisheries harbours island-wide.

Fish & Prawn Farming State Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said that the project would be carried out by the Navy and the Ministry of Defence. He added that the project was proposed by the latter.

Minister Ramesh Pathirana, as well as Parliamentarians Shan Wijelal de Silva, Isuru Dodangoda, and Sampath Athukorala were also present.
