Random PCR tests in Parliament

A Random PCR testing programme is scheduled to be held today (09) from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon at the Parliament premises.

Sergeant-at-Arms Narendra Fernando invited Parliamentarians to attend the random PCR testing programme.

The random checkups will be conducted once a week during Parliamentary Sitting weeks as well as during non-Sitting weeks with the full support of the Department of the Director General of Health Services. Random PCR tests have been carried out since January 13, 2021 and the 190 persons who underwent PCR tests on January 25 turned out to be COVID negative.
