Mechanical Carpentry Course for Youth

The Uva Provincial Department of Industrial Development invites young people who wish to be trained in mechanical carpentry with a monthly stipend of Rs. 7,500.

The youth will be trained at a government carpentry training school in Kinigama (Bandarawela), Diyatalawa (Haputale), Boralanda (Uva Paranagama/Welimada), Hela Halpe (Bandarawela) and Mahiyanganaya (Mahiyanganaya) in the Badulla District. This programme is not limited to the Badulla District.

The classes will be conducted in the Moneragala District, Inginiyagala, Kivulayaya, Nakkalagoda, Badalkumbura and Yalabowa. They are under the control of the Uva Provincial Industrial Development Department.

The internationally recognized NVQ-4 (National Vocational Qualification-NVQ 3) is a 9-month course to be launched in the next month for those who have passed the O / L Exam.
