Indian Housing project starts in Galle

A project of 50 housing units was inaugurated recently at the Walahanduwa Estate in Galle, which is owned by the State Plantation Corporation (SPC), under the auspices of Consul General of India Dipin P.R. under the Indian Housing Assistance Scheme.

The Estate Housing and Community Infrastructure State Ministry will carry out the project at a cost of Rs. 950,000.

Estate Housing and Community Infrastructure State Minister Jeevan Thondaman, Plantation Minister Ramesh Pathirana, Parliamentarians Sampath Athukorala, Isuru Dodangoda and Maradamand Rameshwaran and several others were present.
