A man and his daughter were admitted to the Batticaloa Teaching Hospital on Wednesday after the three-wheeler they were travelling in collided with a private bus near the Batticaloa clock tower.
The daughter is a preschooler. The bus driver has been taken into custody. Batticaloa Police are investigating.
