This house was donated to a brother and a sister whose parents are dead. The brother is S.A. Sunil Jayasooriya (59) and his sister is S.A. Chandralatha (56). They are unable to do any heavy work as they are physically weak. They lead a hand-to-mouth existence with the Samurdhi allowance they receive monthly.

Furniture and kitchen utensils required too were donated by the philanthropists. The Samurdhi section of the Mallawapitiya Divisional Secretariat has taken steps to provide free electricity to the house.
