A 14-year old boy in Jaffna had committed suicide by hanging since his mother took his mobile phone.
The boy, who was studying in Grade 9, had been addicted to playing games on his mobile phone. His mother had taken it to prevent him from playing games.
The boy was a resident of Pilavattei, Sulipuram, Jaffna. Police are investigating.
