‘Schools must be made conducive for education’

Schools and their surroundings should be kept conducive for the minds and the requirements of the students, Women and Child Development, Preschool and Primary Education, School Infra Structure and School Services State Minister Piyal Nishantha De Silva said.

The State Minister participated in an inspection tour in the Kalamulla Roman Catholic Vidyalaya recently.

The Roman Catholic Vidyalaya, Kalamulla in the Beruwala Educational Division under the Kalutara Educationational Zone, has 60 students from low income families and 10 teachers including the principal.

Principal G.C.P.Gunarathna handed a list of essentials for the school over to the State Minister.

The State Minister said that the school will be provided with resources soon. The students and the staff received face masks from the state Minister.
