All Police officers at Koswatta Station under quarantine

Steps have been taken to quarantine all Police officers at the Koswatta Police Station which belongs to the Chilaw Police Division.

The main reason for this is that an Inspector who worked at the Koswatta Police station had contracted COVID-19.

The officer is currently receiving treatment at the Police Hospital. Steps have been taken to set up a temporary Police station at the Koswatta Sri Wijayasundarama Temple premises to prevent inconvenience to the people in the area due to the temporary closure of the Koswatta Police Station.
