The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) has earned Rs.660 million in 10 days during the Sinhala and Tamil New Year season.
Its Chairperson, Attorney-at-Law Kingsley Ranawaka, said the revenue was generated by a special bus service facilitated for people visiting their villages for the festive season.
Ranawaka said that the special bus service, which operated on the instructions of Transport Minister Gamini Lokuge and State Minister Dilum Amunugama, had earned this revenue between April 10 and 20.
