A special discussion between the Iranian Ambassador and Women and Child Development, Pre-schools and Primary Education, School Infrastructure and School Services State Minister Piyal Nishantha De Silva was held in Colombo recently.
State Minister Piyal Nishantha de Silva had the discussion to strengthen the long lasting and historical relationship Sri Lanka has with Iran, with regard to Investment, tourism promotion, and education.
The Iranian Ambassador expressed his concern and informed the State Minister that steps will be taken to uplift and promote tourism and investments in Sri Lanka.
The State Minister said that the discussion was very fruitful and the Ambassador invited him to visit Iran.
