Water levels of Kalu Ganga, Gin Ganga, Attanagalu Oya on the rise

The water level of the Kuda Ganga (Millakanda) is currently rising to 'Major Flood Level' and Kalu Ganga (Putupaula) is rising to 'Minor Flood Level 'due to the prevailing rainfall, stated the Disaster Management Center.

In the meantime, Gin Ganga (Baddegama) and Attanagalu Oya (Dunamale) are currently rising to 'Alert Level'.

Accordingly, the people living in low-level areas of these rivers have been advised to move to safer locations due to the threat of floods.
