More vaccination centres sought for Ampara

Residents of Nintavur in the Kalmunai Health Service Region in Ampara complain that they find only a few vaccination centres in the region during the last two weeks.

They said that the jabs were available only from a very few regional health centres.

As a result, a high number of residents were gathering at these centres, accelerating the spread of the virus, they complain. Therefore, they urged the authorities to increase the number of vaccination centres in the region to obtain the vaccines.
