Thirty Eight children under treatment for COVID at KTH, Maliban

Thirty eight children are under treatment for COVID at the Akmeemana Maliban Hospital and the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital (KTH), KTH Hospital Acting Director Shelton Perrera said.

The Maliban Hospital is providing treatment for 32 children and 25 mothers while six children are under treatment at the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital, the Director said.

Four more children are under medical care at their residences, he said.

The two hospitals are now providing treatment for 208 COVID patients, he added.
