Medical equipment donated to Kalmunai AMH

The donations were made to Kalmunai Ashraff Memorial Hospital (AMH) Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr.A.L.F.Rahman in the  presence of Doctors M.M. Hafeelul Ilahi, A.R.M.Haris, A.L.Farook and and N.Suhaib.

Well-wishers from Kalmunai living overseas donated medical equipment worth Rs.2.5 million to the Ashraff Memorial Hospital (AMH), Kalmunai to empower the fight against COVID-19.

Special COVID-19 Units has been open in hospitals islandwide to contain the spread of the pandemic. The COVID-19 Unit of Kalmunai Ashraff Memorial Hospital was declared open recently.

The Administration of the Kalmunai Ashraff Memorial Hospital requested Kalmunai residents living abroad for assistance to improve the productivity of the unit.

In response, the Kalmunai Gulf Organisation donated a ‘Non-Intensive Ventilator (CPAP & BiPAP) and Pulse Oximeters while those living in Japan gifted Non-Intensive Ventilator (CPAP & BiPAP) and other equipment to the hospital.

The donations were made to Kalmunai Ashraff Memorial Hospital (AMH) Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr. A.L.F. Rahman in the presence of hospital staff.

Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr. A.L.F. Rahman, doctors and hospital community thanked the donors for their benevolence. Doctors M.M. Hafeelul Ilahi, A.R.M. Haris, A.L. Farook and N. Suhaib were also present on this occasion.
