He had the honour of captaining the Sri Lanka under 20 national Rugby Sevens team in the Asian Championship in 2015 and won the under 20 Cup championship for the first time in Sri Lankan rugby history under him in 2016. After leaving school Dixon turned out for Havelocks Sports Club, CR & FC and presently playing for CH and FC in the inter club rugby tournament and had a major hand in getting Sri Lankan national rugby sevens team to become Asia’s second best with his brilliant display as a utility three quarter.

He is also nicknamed as “Kutty” among the rugby loving public in Sri Lanka as well as abroad.

“Ever since I could walk, I’ve always been an active person who loves doing any kind of sport due to my father’s encouragement, as sports runs in my family because my father and my elder brother did sports. Also my father, mother, brother and sister are always behind me and they are really very supportive towards me, which ultimately led me into the world of sport; hence I’m always eternally grateful to all of them.”

“My most unforgettable moment was Captaining my bellowed school St.Peters College Bambalapitiya first fifteen rugby team and Sri Lanka national under 20 seven’s team two consecutive times in my rugby career”

“My favourite rugby player is Fiji and world rugby legend Waisale Serevi and I also like Fijian rugby star Jessie Ryder. I should say that I don’t compare any one as such, but I do follow the life style of above two Fijian rugby stars.”

On a concluding note Dixon said that he likes to describe himself as a good hearted human being who is always a simple and honest person.
