A meeting between Transport Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi and Head of Economic Affairs of the United States Embassy in Sri Lanka Susan F. Walke was held at the Transport Ministry yesterday where improving the transport sector in Sri Lanka and the use of new technology in this regard were discussed. Susan Walke said that the US Government will extend all possible assistance to boost the Transport Industry here.
US Embassy Commercial Attaché in Sri Lanka Luis Salas and Private Secretary to the Minister Kanchana Jayaratne were present.
