The Saubaghyaye Kapruka national programme will be launched at 9.30 am at the Lunuwila Sri Lanka Coconut Research Institute auditorium today (22).
The programme will be launched under the patronage of Minister of Plantations Dr. Ramesh Pathirana and State Minister of Plantations Arundika Fernando. On this occasion the brand name Ceylon Coconut as well as the website will be introduced to the people. The 1928 hotline will as well as 0704001928 WhatsApp number will also be introduced.
The Coconut Book will be launched while coconut plants cultivated using tissues and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Kurunegala Plantation Company regarding the manual pollination project will also take place.
