Heroin racket in Moratuwa busted

Moratuwa Police busted a well-organised heroin racket that has been operated for a long time in Moratuwa, Wellawatte, Piliyandala and Panadura by a group of drug peddlers. Four suspects have been arrested in Angulana, Moratuwa along with an employee of the Trincomalee Habour along with a stock of heroin and ICE worth Rs. 1,000,000 on January 4 on a tip off, Police said.

Two of them had rented a room of a hotel in Wellawatte and distributed heroin and ICE to their subagents.
