The Sri Lanka Freedom Party has appointed new organizers for all three electorates in the Trincomalee District. Accordingly, the former Speaker of Eastern Provincial Council, Senior Attorney-at-Law
H. M.Fais has been appointed for the Muthur electorate.
Former Member of Parliament Jayantha Wijesekara has been appointed as the organizer for the Trincomalee electorate and Mahesh Chathuranga has been appointed as the organizer for the Seruvila electorate.
Meanwhile, the former Trincomalee District Organizer, former Minister M.K.AD.S. Gunawardena's son Nalin Gunawardena was appointed as the district organizer. Letters of appointment for them were handed over by the Leader of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, former President and Member of Parliament Maithripala Sirisena at the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Conference held in Colombo on Saturday (January 08).
