SJB will co-ordinate getting down two essential drugs - Opposition Leader

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa told Parliament yesterday (19) that two types of medicines used for heart ailments will be imported to Sri Lanka under the Samagi Jana Balawegaya ‘Husma’ programme and donated to the Health Ministry.

He said that it was decided to provide the relevant drugs after consulting the experts of the Ministry of Health regarding the drug requirements.

The allowances of the members of the SJB as well as party organizers, party members and local and foreign party organizations are assisting in this endeavour, he added.
