National Chamber concludes bilateral session with Turkey

The National Chamber conducted the session on “Bilateral Trade between Sri Lanka and Turkey” on March 16, at the National Chamber Auditorium with a considerable gathering of business community.

The key speakers were Nazan Deniz, Second Secretary of the Turkey Embassy in Colombo, Aysun Timur, Turkish Commercial Counsellor, Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in India New Delhi and also Yoshitha Jayasuriya, Minister Counsellor (Commercial) Embassy of Sri Lanka, Ankara Turkey connected virtually.

Current trade environment, investment opportunities and services, policies and other important information with the view to promote and strengthen bilateral trade and investment between Sri Lanka and Turkey was discussed in detail, during the session. The participants had an opportunity to have a close dialogue with Sri Lankan Embassy officials in Turkey, Turkey Embassy officials in Sri Lanka and Turkey Embassy officials in India New Delhi.

Addressing the gathering Deepal Nelson, Senior Deputy President of the National Chamber expressed his confidence in developing trade and investment between the two Countries.
