June 13 declared Special Government Holiday

The Public Administration and Home Affairs Ministry yesterday issued a Circular declaring Monday (June 13) as a Special Government Holiday.

The decision was taken in view of Poson Poya falling on Tuesday- June 14.

The Ministry stated that this special holiday should not be an impediment to the provision of essential public services to the public.
