Piliyandala Central College under the captaincy of Ashen Rodrigo made history when they beat their arch rivals Taxila Central Horana in their inter school Raigam Salpiti Big Match and the Limited Over Match which was worked off at Dombagoda Grounds Horana. This is their fourth win in the 20 match series and they have won all the One Dayers since its inauguration. Their last victory in the Big Match was recorded in 2010.

Piliyandala Central skipper Ashen Rodrigo won the toss and elected to bat and they were bowled out for a modest total of 128 runs with Rashan Nawanjana claiming 5 for 20 runs and in reply Taxila were skittled out for a paltry 66 runs and Thineth Salindadid the damage with 6 for 20 and in their second essay visitors were all out for 111 runs with Sithika Dilmith making the top score of 49 runs and Rasan Navanjana bagged 6 for 37 to take a match bag of 11 for 57 and set to make 174 runs for an out right victory Horana lads were all out for 120 runs with Sandew Seneviratne scoring 47 runs and the first innings hero for CentraliansThineth Salinga captured 5 for 32 to make a match bag of 11 for 52 runs.

The 10th Annual One Dayer was played at the same venue and Taxila Central taking the first lease were all out for 123 runs with Randew Seneviratne scoring 41 runs and Ashen Rodrigo claimed 4 for 32 runs and in reply Centralians made 127 for 3 with the skipper making the top score of 35 runs.
