At the Entebbe International Airport, Foreign Minister G. L. Peiris was received by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Uganda, Henry Okello Oryem, en route to Kigali, Rwanda to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). Minister Peiris will represent the President of Sri Lanka at the CHOGM, which will be attended by fifty-four member states of the Commonwealth. High Commissioner Kananathan was also present at the airport.
