Sri Lanka Customs Narcotics Division officers at the Central Mail Exchange (CME) have found Rs.130.6 million worth of crystal methamphetamine (ICE) narcotic pills sent to Sri Lanka as airmail from the Netherlands.
The airmail parcel had been sent from the Netherlands to a fake address in Moratuwa on March 4.
The opened parcels were found to contain 13,640 pills of ICE. Further investigations will be handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau.
