Motorcycle and bus collide, one dead

A person was reported dead after the motorcycle he was riding collided head-on with a passenger bus in the Rampadeniya area in Ginigathhena on Wednesday evening. The deceased is a 39-year-old father of two who lived in Pallewela, Ginigathhena.

The motorcycle had collided with the bus when he attempted to overtake a car while on the way home from Ginigathhena.

Police have arrested the driver of the bus.

Ginigathhena Police are investigating.
