GL, Dullas Group for APG, but no portfolios

Former Minister, Prof. G.L.Peiris said that his group is not ready to accept any positions including ministerial portfolios even if they join the All-Party Government (APG).

The former minister was speaking to the media after the discussion between Dullas Alahapperuma’s team and the President regarding the establishment of an All-Party Government.

Peiris said his group of MPs will fully support any work undertaken for the good of the country and the people and will never try to sabotage it. “We are ready to help rebuild the country from here, but sitting on the side of the people,” he added.
