President disappointed over NPP’s boycott

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has expressed his disappointment over National People’s Power (NPP) decision not to partake in the discussions on forming an All-Party Government.

President Wickremesinghe has made this observation in a reply letter sent to NPP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake.  

Dissanayake had informed the Party’s decision via a letter earlier. President Wickremesinghe has also expressed his hope that the NPP would consider supporting an All-Party Government to revive the country from the prevailing economic crisis.
