Booster dose safe, no allergies, deaths reported

Chief Epidemiologist Dr.Samitha Ginige yesterday said that no incident of allergic reaction, deaths were reported   from those who received the second booster vaccines against Covid-19. He said that 8,060,993 persons in the country have received first booster doses and 82,238 persons have received the second booster doses so far. “Over 8.2 million persons who received second booster shots have not shown any allergic reaction so far,” he said.

Dr. Ginige that nobody should be frightened to have the booster doses He said that the immunity against the Covid-19 develops for about a year after having booster doses.
