Leader of the House and Education Minister Susil Premajayantha told Parliament yesterday that Parliamentary Committees will be activated and strengthened in the next few weeks.
Participation of MPs representing all Parties who have expertise in their relevant fields regardless of party politics will be anticipated.
He added that the support of the all Parties including economic experts and public representatives should be obtained at the moment in order to save the country from the current crisis. Accordingly several more Parliamentary Committees are expected to be established in the coming week.
“We can get out of this situation only by working collectively with each other.If not, our future is more crucial than whatever government that comes to the power,”he said.
