Former President Gotabaya returns

Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, who left the country during the height of the ‘Aragalaya’ protest, returned to the country from Thailand along with his wife Ayoma Rajapaksa at around midnight on Friday. Several Ministers were present at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake to welcome the former President. The former President has been given an official residence at Malalasekara Mawatha, Colombo 07 with adequate security.
