Trinity College Kandy and St. Joseph’s College Colombo advanced to the semi finals of the Under 17 division One inter schools cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association with sponsor Sri Lanka Cricket yesterday.
Quarter final match between Trinity College Kandy and Mahinda College Galle ended in a no decision without a ball being bowled due to heavy rain at Darley road yesterday. The other quarter final match between St. Joseph’s College Colombo and St. Sebastian’s College Moratuwa ended in no result without a ball being bowled due to heavy rain at S. Thomas’ College ground Colombo. Trinity College Kandy and St. Joseph’s College Colombo advanced to the semi finals according to average points in the tournament. Trinity earned more average points than Mahinda and St. Joseph’s earned more average points than St. Sebastian’s.
