Thirty seven State Ministers sworn in

Thirty seven State Ministers of the new government were sworn in before President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the President’s Office yesterday morning (8).

The newly appointed State Ministers are Jagath Pushpakumara (Foreign Employment Promotion), Ranjith Siyambalapitiya (Finance), Lasantha Alagiyawanna (Transport), Dilum Amunugama (Investment promotion), Kanaka Herat (Technology), Janaka Wakkumbura (Provincial Councils and Local Government)  Shehan Semasinghe (Finance), Mohan Priyadarsha de Silva (Agriculture), Thenuka Widanagamage (Urban Development and Housing), Pramitha Bandara Thennakoon (Defence), Rohana Dissanayake (Sports and Youth Affairs), Arundika Fernando (Urban Development and Housing), Vijitha Berugoda Piriven Education, Lohan Ratwatte (Plantation Industries), Tharaka Balasuriya (Foreign Affairs), Indika Anuruddha (Power and Energy), Sanath Nishantha (Water Supply), Siripala Gamalath (Highways), Shantha Bandara (Mass Media), Anuradha Jayaratne (Justice and Prison Reforms), S.Viyalendran (Trade) Sisira Jayakody (Indigenous Medicine), Piyal Nishantha de Silva (Fisheries), Prasanna Ranaweera (Small and Medium Enterprise Development), D.V.
