Skipper Tillakaratne Dilshan hit a magnificent 56-ball 107 as the Sri Lankan Legends defeated the Australian Legends by 38 runs in their Road Safety World Series T20 Cricket Tournament match played at Kanpur, India on Sunday.

The dashing opener hoisted four sixes and struck 14 boundaries after having put on a splendid 208-run opening stand with his partner Dilshan Munaweera as the Sri Lankan Legends piled up 218 for one wicket from their 20 overs having elected to bat first.

Munaweera played a good supporting role and remained unbeaten on 95 from 63 deliveries, which included two sixes and 10 boundaries. In reply, Australia Legends, after an opening stand of 75 runs, collapsed to 180 in 18 overs against some tight bowling from Nuwan Kulasekera (4/36), Chaturanga de Silva (2/32_ and Jeevan Mendis (2/14). Dilshan, who held on to two catches following his batting heroics, was named Player-of-the-Match.
